Rocks and mussel reefs

The reefs are available in all sizes, but no matter the size, there is a good chance you will catch a fish.

The characteristics of the reef is that the area is shallow compared to the surrounding areas. You often catch the fish over the reef, or in the transition between reef and deeper area. Especially the reefs, which are connected to seaweed tongs at deeper waters attracts many fish.

Be aware of the water level
Generally speaking, fishing in Limfjorden is best when the water level is at medium or high, and the reefs are no exception. In high tide, you can fish most of the reefs from the shore. At low tide, some of the reefs are drained or the water level is so low that is does not contain fish. If you fish in the spots during low tide, it might be necessary to wade out a little to get to the fish.
